How to vote in consular elections?

IMPORTANT DATES

Friday, April 24, 2026: the deadline to register on the Consular Electoral List (LEC).

Friday 22 – Wednesday 27 May: online voting is open.

Saturday, May 30, 2026: vote in person or by proxy.

To exercise their right to vote, the French must meet these 3 conditions:

Be a French citizen
Reside abroad
Be registered on a consular electoral list
